Araceli Santana

Tapatía artist, graduated from the University of Guadalajara with a degree in Visual Arts.

Painter and draftsman, with a special interest in exploring all possible and disparate artistic fields. Some of the disciplines she has ventured into include theater, artist's books, sculpture, and poetry.

Her work has explored themes such as childhood, motherhood, the human or animal body, the sensual, and the sensory as a way to understand and experience the boundaries of reality.

The work she has created has participated in over 50 exhibitions in significant venues both in Mexico and abroad. Additionally, her work has been featured and published, including in theater productions in her hometown, where she currently lives and works.

Parallel to her artistic career
She was the director of the Radio Museum (2019 to 2020) and coordinator of "Dando la cara" for Rutas Plásticas A.C. from 2021 to 2023.
