Verónica Rguez. Aguirre

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from the University of Guadalajara. My work employs various plastic and pictorial media to develop narratives about urban spaces and landscapes, based on photographic references from my daily life. I have exhibited my work individually and collectively in museums and galleries in Guadalajara, Mexico City, the United States, and France, in addition to participating in art fairs like Trámite.

In 2012, I undertook a short stay in Denver, studying at the Art Students League of Denver (ASLD). Since 2018, I co-founded the feminist group "League of Artists and Creators," focusing on management, activism, and outreach from a gender perspective, aiming for gender parity in the arts.

I have taught children's workshops at the International Book Festival in Guadalajara and other events such as Papirolas, in addition to working in cultural centers of the Ministry of Culture of Jalisco. I have also worked as an art educator at the Cabañas Museum, developing workshops and activities. Currently, I am a visual arts teacher and independent artist.
